FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What you need to know before finding a home and transacting through RentNow.
Who operates RentNow?
RentNow.vn is owned and operated by MIQ Software Solutions Co., Ltd. — a company with deep expertise in artificial intelligence (AI), software development, and the rental real-estate sector. Official contact details are published on the Contact page and in the website footer.
Is paying a deposit through RentNow safe?
Yes. For deposit transactions conducted through RentNow, we directly act as a documented witness to the deposit agreement between landlord and tenant. Witness records are kept and can be provided if issues arise, giving both sides peace of mind about the deposit and the transparency of the transaction.
Are landlords on RentNow verified?
Yes. RentNow directly moderates every listing, minimises anonymous posts, and thoroughly verifies landlord identities through legal documents before listings go live. Every landlord transaction can involve RentNow directly as a verifier to protect the safety and interests of our customers.
What does the "Verified" badge on a listing mean?
A listing earns the "Verified" badge after RentNow staff have inspected it on-site: confirming the property exists at the listed address, photos/videos were taken there, the area and room counts were physically measured, and the landlord’s identity was verified. See the Verification Policy page for details.
What makes the RentNow map special?
The RentNow map shows more than listing locations — it offers multiple information layers to help you evaluate an area before visiting: a flood-spot layer (whether the area floods, water level, frequency, and the distance from the home to the nearest flood spot), a real-time traffic layer, and a nearby-amenities layer (markets, supermarkets, schools, hospitals, and more). Each listing also gets a flood-risk assessment right on the map.
Does searching for a home on RentNow cost anything?
No. All search tools, the multi-layer interactive map (flood spots, traffic, road access, nearby amenities), and listing information are completely free for tenants.
Where do I report an inaccurate listing?
Contact RentNow via the email or hotline published on the Contact page. Our Customer Care team responds within 24–48 business hours, investigates, and hides or removes the listing if it violates our policies.
How does RentNow help if I have a dispute with a landlord?
RentNow receives complaints through official channels and helps the parties negotiate and mediate. For deposit transactions witnessed by RentNow, we provide the related witness records and coordinate to protect our customers’ lawful interests. See the Dispute Resolution page for details.
I am a landlord — how do I list on RentNow?
Register a landlord account and create a listing with complete information and real photos. RentNow will moderate it, arrange an on-site verification, and attach the "Verified" badge once it qualifies — making your listing more trustworthy to tenants.
